This specialized role offers the unique opportunity to apply all domains of school psychology practice in a structured, evidence-based environment serving students with complex emotional and behavioral needs in a day school setting. What You Have

  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist licensure 
  • Experience with intensive behavioral interventions and crisis management 
  • Strong clinical perspective with ability to maintain professional boundaries 
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and continuous learning 
  • Strong consultation and collaboration skills with an openness to team-based mentoring 
  • Proficiency with special education policy and procedure 
  • Knowledge of trauma informed practice and social justice frameworks 
  • Commitment to NASP Practice Model principles and ethical standards

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain documentation for compliance and treatment planning 
  • Implement progress monitoring systems within our multitiered support framework 
  • Evaluate intervention effectiveness using data collection and analysis protocols 
  • Contribute to program evaluation and evidence-based practice refinement 
  • Provide consultation to families on behavioral strategies and community resource access 
  • Facilitate collaborative treatment planning across home, school, and community settings 
  • Develop and implement evidence-based academic interventions addressing learning and behavioral barriers 
  • Provide direct therapeutic services including individual and group counseling per IEPs 
  • Design and monitor social-emotional learning interventions within classroom settings 
  • Implement trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapeutic approaches 
  • Support implementation of our school-wide Positive Behavioral Supports system 
  • Lead crisis intervention protocols including de-escalation and post-crisis debriefing 
  • Develop and maintain safety protocols and threat assessment procedures 
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and special education regulations 
  • Maintain professional boundaries and clinical documentation standards 
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision
