Desert Choice Schools is now hiring for Full-time Behavior Technicians starting at $17.50 per hour with benefits and $500 sign on bonus! 

Desert Choice Schools, a Learn It Family of Companies division, is a certified K -12 Private Day School approved by the Arizona Department of Education to provide Special Education Services.

Desert Choice Schools utilizes a highly-structured, school-wide Positive Behavioral Supports program that teaches students Academic, Social/Emotional Problem-Solving and Strategies. All DCS teachers and support staff are trained in a unique methodology that assists students with maintaining Positive Choice-Making. • Planning and implementation of social/emotional/behavioral interventions.
• Behavior documentation and reporting.
• Planning and implementation of academic interventions.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships.
• Communicate with supervisors and other colleagues consistently and professionally.
• Attend training, supervision, professional development and mentor meetings.
• Receptive to constructive feedback in group and individual settings.

• High School Diploma or GED is required;
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required to be considered or ability to get one
• Course work in related subject preferred.
• Experience in ABA preferred, not required. 
• Must have or willing to obtain a valid CPR/First Aid & Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be able to work independently and meet all clinical and administrative deadlines.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
